Hemant Pant का जन्म 28 नवंबर 1988 को हिमाचल प्रदेश के शिमला जिले में हुआ था उनके पापा का नाम J C Pant और माता का नाम सीमा पंत है और उनकी एक बड़ी बहन भी है जिसकी शादी हो चुकी है।
उन्होंने अपनी 10th तक की पढाई ICSE Board की और 12th की पढ़ाई उन्होंने Science साइट से Hainault Public School Shimla, Himachal Pradesh से की, अगर उनकी Educational qualification की बात करे तो उन्होंने M Tech किया हुआ है।

Hemant Pant Life Struggle Story —
क्योंकि Hement ने ICSE Board से 10th किया है और उन्हें कोडिंग भी पढ़ाई जाती थी तो एक दिन School में टीचर ने एक problem को solve करने के लिए एक प्रोग्राम बनाने को दिया तो जब अपनी class में केवल वही उस problem को solve करने के लिए program बना पाए तो इससे उनका confident बहुत boost हुआ और अगले दिन ही उन्होंने NIIT Institute पर html, c++ को सीखने की कोचिंग ली, Hemant Book Reading की Habit थी जो कि वह अपने पापा से सीखी थी।
Hemant ने 12th complete करने के बाद Rajiv Gandhi Government Degree College, Kotshera से BSc की डिग्री हासिल की और BSc Complete करने के बाद उन्होंने B.Tech करना चाहा तो Punjab technical university Jalandhar में Admission ले लिया और B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) Complete किया।
B.Tech complete करने के बाद उन्होंने Saber Papers Limited, and Syntal Capital Partners में 2 Campus placement ली थी, उसके बाद उन्होंने GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) की preparation करना शुरू कर दिया और उन्होंने वो clear किया उसके बाद उन्होंने Junior Engineering & Assistant Engineering का written भी clear किया।
उसके बाद उन्होंने M.Tech करने के लिए punjab technical university Chandigarh में Admission लिया और वहॉं से उन्होंने M.Tech की Degree हासिल की
M.Tech करने के बाद उन्होंने जॉब करने की सोची तो उन्होंने देखा कि उस समय सबसे अच्छी salary Power Grid दे रहा था तो उन्हें पता चला कि जिसका भी GATE का score बहुत अच्छा है वो इसमे जा सकता है, उन्होंने दुबारा से GATE exam clear करने का सोचा तो उसकी preparation के लिए वो दिल्ली चले गए और Engineering zone Institute से कोचिंग लेना शुरू कर दिया और उन्होंने GATE का exam 99% मार्क्स के साथ clear किया और उसके बाद उन्होंने जो फर्स्ट जॉब की वो थी assistant Professor की और दो महिने तक electrical Engineering के स्टूडेंट्स को पढ़ाया और उसके बाद उनका Junior assistant का result आ गया और क्योंकि वह Government Job थी तो फिर उन्होंने Junior Engineer के तौर पर वह Join कर लिया और जो उन्होंने फाइनल जॉब की वह sub-divisional officer Himachal Pradesh state electricity board थी।
Hemant Pant YouTube Channels —
उन्होंने B.tech complete करने के बाद अपना पहला Youtube channel start किया और Channel का नाम things Engineer must know रखा बाद में इसका नाम GIGL (Great Ideas Great Life) रख दिया, य़ह channel उन्होंने जुलाई 2012 में बनाया था इसमें अभी 6.78 मिलियन subscribers और 487 videos uploaded है।
GIGL के अलावा उनके दो YouTube channel और है — “Hemant Pant GIGL founder” इसे उन्होंने जुलाई 2019 में बनाया है इसमें उनके 241k subscribers और 50 videos अपलोड कर चुके है।
